Drawing from plants, flowers, marine organisms and fluid mineral textures, Gianluigi develops hybrid digital life forms that move between observation and invention. Biological structures, surfaces and colours are fragmented, recombined and transformed into unfamiliar organisms and landscapes. Often composed of particles, these forms appear to grow, dissolve, mutate and re-emerge, carrying traces of existing species while evolving into new states.

Data is both material and behaviour in his work. It may originate from biological references, environmental conditions, real-time systems or the movements and presence of participants. Through gesture, movement and physical effort, viewers can influence the vitality, rhythm or survival of the digital environments they encounter. In this exchange, interaction becomes more than a technical input: it becomes a way to make relationships of care, fragility, responsibility and interdependence perceptible.
