Vital Threshold connects the moisture of soil to the emergence of a digital bouquet. Water becomes a condition of visibility, allowing scattered particles to gather into floral forms.

A soil-moisture sensor translates changes in the physical environment into the behaviour of the image. In dry conditions, particles drift in fragmented, disordered motion. As water is added and moisture rises, they gradually assemble into a bouquet.

The work brings a simple act of tending into a digital system. Care becomes visible through the passage from dispersal to form, linking the image’s coherence to the condition of the soil.
